My name is Diego Lara and I am an award-winning director based in Vancouver.

I grew up in front of the TV, watching stories shape the way I saw the world. When curiosity kicked in, I started making short films to figure out how those stories were built, how they broke, and how to make them work again.

That curiosity took me to Cuba to study screenwriting, and later around the world directing documentaries, learning how real stories move, breathe, and surprise you.

Over the last decade, that same instinct has guided my work creating and directing animated and non scripted series for History Channel, Amazon Prime, Off TV and Futura TV, and leading creative direction on campaigns for Marvel Entertainment, DC Comics, Kabam and PUBG Studio.
